Staying at Forge Farm B&B

Your hosts Phillipa and Maurice will be here to greet you on arrival with afternoon tea including Phillipa’s home baking. Check in is 2pm, and we provide a late checkout of midday.  Maurice can usually be found in the workshop operating the forge or building something but their company will delight all guests during your stay.

Single night stay $200 per couple.

Dinner

If total peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle is what you’re after, dinner can be provided. A two course meal including dinner and dessert in the homestead is $35pp, and of course you can bring your bottle of wine. 

Our Farm / Gardens

Whether you are into the farm experience or not you have the options of wandering the large garden space previously used for Garden Tours or you can meet our local farm characters.

Milly & Mei - the goats, who would do anything for food and a pat.

Fliss & Frankie - our Valais Blacknose Sheep who will also do anything for food and a scratch.

Kimba - our beautiful Maine Coon cat who may or may not be friendly (his choice)

We also have lambs in August and friendly cows.

Most of our produce is grown in our large garden areas and we use companion planting to avoid the use of chemical sprays.
